It’s that time of year in Tashkent where for a short, glorious window of springtime, it’s berries galore! And they’re very inexpensive ($1 - $2 per kilo). This is my stash for the next few days. Having my house keeper buy me a few kilos when she comes on Wednesday for eating/freezing. My new salad spinner is getting a workout cleaning all this fresh produce!

Hand knotted wool rug from Bukhara Samarkand Silk Road Carpet Factory owned by one of our lovely school families. #nofilter needed when something is this pretty and I’ve seen the amazing craftsmanship on display in their Samarkand factory.
